Our Story
mycolorwoof was founded by siblings Amy Louise Covington and Sam Henry - two lifelong animal lovers with a shared vision of creating dog accessories that feel lighter, simpler and more comfortable for everyday life.
As dog owners ourselves we noticed how many modern harnesses had become overly bulky, heavy and restrictive - especially in warmer weather. We wanted to go back to the roots of dog accessories: Strong, reliable essentials that still allow dogs to move freely and comfortably, without sacrificing style or quality.
That idea became mycolorwoof!
Designed in the UK, our collections focus on clean, lightweight Y strap-based designs that combine premium materials, comfort and timeless colour palettes for everyday adventure. We believe dog accessories should feel effortless - practical enough for daily walks, yet beautiful enough to become part of your lifestyle.
But mycolorwoof was always intended to become something bigger than dog accessories alone.
A percentage of every order helps support our long-term mission of contributing towards the future development of a dog rescue and rehabilitation centre in Alabama - a region where many rescue organisations and animal services continue to face overcrowding, underfunding, and limited resources.
With many dogs across the rural southern United States still lacking access to proper rehabilitation, shelter space, and long-term care, our goal is to one day help create a safe space dedicated to rescue, recovery and second chances for dogs in need.
This mission is deeply connected to our families ties to Alabama and the communities surrounding it, and it remains at the heart of everything we hope to build through mycolorwoof.
